Please download the NETGEAR Nighthawk App for all NETGEAR WiFi routers, except the WNDR3400, WNR2000, or older router models. Alternatively, for all Orbi WiFi Systems, please download the NETGEAR Orbi App.
The NETGEAR genie app supports various router models, including cable modem routers, DSL modem routers, and WNDR3400, WNR2000, and other older router models.

The NETGEAR genie app is a convenient tool for managing, monitoring, and repairing your home network from your mobile device. It offers access to router features such as wireless settings, network map, Parental Controls, guest access, traffic metering, MyMedia, and more.

Please note that the NETGEAR genie app cannot be used when your mobile device is connected to the router's guest network. It only works with NETGEAR routers in router mode, not in access point mode. Additionally, the app is not compatible with wireless extenders or repeaters and does not support IPv6. Enabling IPv6 will result in login failure when using the genie app.
